Ring
sizes are measured differently in different parts of the
world. Though our jewellery comes from around the world,
for our customers' convenience, we have listed Canadian/American
sizes on our website. However it is interesting to know about
various ring sizes in different parts of the world. Below are
two easy methods of measuring your ring size. It is especially
helpful for online purchases since you won't have the opportunity
to try on the rings that you want to purchase.
How
to measure your ring size
The
simple method of measuring your ring size is to measure the circumference
or the distance around your finger with something flexible such
as a piece of string or a flexible measuring tape or ruler with millimeter
measurements. You can measure the diameter in millimeters or use
a
ring that fits you right. Look for the nearest measurement in
the Ring
Size Chart. In case of doubt between two sizes, it is
advisable to go for the next larger ring size.
Another
method of measuring your ring size
If
you have a ring that fits you well, you can measure your ring
size with the help of the chart below. Place your ring over the
nearest size circle. To get the correct measurement, the inner
edge of the ring should align with the outer edge of the circle.
As we mentioned above, if the size is between the two sizes, it
is recommended to go for larger size. (These
are approximate sizes.)
